Design Process Public Consultation
Members of the Caribbean Sports Club have been consulted on the proposals described within this report. A consultation event was held at the Club halfway through the design process, where members were asked to comment on the emerging design proposals. These comments were then incorporated into the proposal described in this report. Some of their comments are shown below:
We prefer brick to timber. Timber is more difficult to clean off graffiti
We need a storage room right next to the events space for tables and chairs.
It would be great to see mural art by emerging artists from Black or Asian communities to design; using bold contemporary colours that reflect the Caribbean heritage.
